How long does it actually keep food warm or cold, and what foods work best?

The Besties Squad Insulated Food Jar keeps food warm for up to 7 hours and cold for up to 5 hours, thanks to its stainless steel insulated body. For best results with warm food, pre-heat the jar by filling it with boiling water for a few minutes before adding food this warms the stainless steel interior and significantly extends how long food stays hot. Good candidates for warm use include pasta, rice dishes, soup, porridge, and baked beans. For cold use, pre-chill the jar in the fridge for 30 minutes before filling with yoghurt, fruit, or cold salads. It holds 325ml a generous kid-sized portion, suited to a main meal serving for children from preschool age through primary school
