What are the four modes and how does the walker grow with my child?

The Skip Hop Grow Along 4-in-1 Activity Walker offers four ways to play: seated, cruising, shopping cart, and stroller — suitable from 6 months to 4 years. In seated mode from around 6 months, baby engages with the toy panel while developing core strength. As they pull up to standing and take first steps, the cruising mode gives them a stable push bar to hold while walking. The shopping cart and stroller modes come into their own from around 18 months to 4 years, when toddlers are deep in imaginative and pretend play. The removable toy panel can also be used as a floor easel or for independent play, extending its usefulness beyond the walker itself

What developmental features and toys does it include?

The walker is packed with 40-plus play features, songs, sounds, and lights. The toy panel includes a wobble plane with propeller, click-clack bee, hot air balloon spinner, rotating gears, and a detachable rattle phone with baby mirror. A light-up musical keyboard plays 5 songs, 5 sound effects, and 5 piano notes — covering cause and effect, sensory development, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, simple counting, and pretend play across its full age range. The songs include familiar tunes alongside original melodies, and the keyboard's piano function encourages early musical exploration

Is it safe for my baby to use as a walking aid, and is there a volume control?

The Skip Hop Activity Walker is a push walker designed for babies who are already pulling up to stand and beginning to cruise — it is not a traditional seated mobile bouncer walker and does not surround the child. Babies should always be supervised during use, particularly on hard floors where the walker can move more quickly. The walker is suitable for use from 6 months provided baby has sufficient head, neck, and core strength to sit unaided. On the volume question: the activity walker does not have a manual volume adjustment dial if sound levels seem low, the first step is to replace the batteries, as low volume is typically a sign of depleted battery power rather than a product fault. All Skip Hop products are BPA-free and flame-retardant free
